With each passing birthday, you will notice that you have more small lines around the eyes and mouth and your skin will not be as elastic as before. With no luster or glow on your skin, you will know that your skin is aging. Your old makeup routine that have a magical and powerful effect to make you looking bright and perky will not look the same and it will feel different. Here are some tricks and techniques to help your face looking your and vibrant.

Having a good skin from inside out is the beginning to get a younger looking face. Stay away from excessive air conditioning or heat because it will dry your skin out from its moisture. Drink lots of water daily to keep the moisture on. Use a cleanser and moisturizer which contained emollients will be the next step. It is not true that products that contain oil will clogged our pores and cause breakouts at any age. The products which contain oil will give your skin the supply of moisture and you can notice a difference when you apply your makeup.

Groom your brow. It is an important key to create a polished look. Pay attention to your skin tone to get the right choice of shadow colour. Avoid colours that can accentuate sallow skin or dark circles under your eyes. Eyes will look tired and blood shot with red undertone shadows. Choose a light colour that will open your eyes. Try to have a colour change of your shadow. Do not always wear that boring brown eye shadow all the time. Try a new colour to complement your eye colour. Put a gray or navy liner for a smoky and dramatic effect for your eyes; avoid the black liner for once.

Your face will have more colours because of the right blush. You will have a brighter, radiant and younger looking face with bright coloured blush. A light bright pink or bright apricot colour is suitable for almost everyone; do not go overboard or otherwise you will look like a clown. A cream blush is also a good type of blush to get a “radiating from within” look. Just smile and lightly tap the colour onto the apple to the cheeks and blend softly without rubbing.

Choose lip colour that is one shade brighter than your natural lip and please do not use brown or purple shades. Your lips will look dry and have lines settling on and around the mouth with a long-lasting lipstick. Use a creamy, hydrating or moisturising lipstick instead. For an extra bit of shine, put a soft layer of light peach or neutral coloured gloss.

The fine lines on your skin may be emphasized by heavy foundation, powders, blushes and shadows. An illuminating foundation which has more moisture and a cream blush will work better to even out skin tone and imperfections. Use a subtle shimmer instead of the full on glow for your highlighter. Do not let the makeup wearing you, instead wear the makeup. Highlight your best features and work it. Use the knowledge and makeup products even though you’re aging. Age gracefully, it’s the key.
